How to get help in an emergency
If you need urgent help for a mental health crisis or emergency, you should seek immediate expert advice and assessment:
NHS
Call 999 or go to A&E if your life or someone else's is at risk.
Call 111 to speak to a trained mental health professional over the phone.
Speak to your GP.

SAMARITANS
Call 116 123 to talk to Samaritans.
Email jo@samaritans.org for a response within 24 hours.
SHOUT
Text "SHOUT" to 85258 to contact the Shout Crisis Text Line, or text "YM" if you're under 19.
STAYING SAFE
The Staying Safe website provides information on how to make a safety plan.
MIND
Mind also provides information on coping and planning for a mental health crisis.
